Hi frnd,
First thing keep clear in your mind. If you go any reputed dealership will never change your parts under warranty unless or untill have some problem in your car.
when you go to any dealership first they will quote you to check your car, If they did not found anything wrong with your car than definetaly they will charge you for diagnose charges.
First check your warranty which kind of warranty you have. you mentioned that you purchased Used car.
So many kind of warranty is coming some exmple
comprehensive warranty (almost 80% cover)
P-own warranty
basic warranty
Major componant warranty
Third party warranty with dudctible, third party means not from manufacturer but outsiders.
I would suggest if nothing wrong with your car do not try to make smart yourself. bcos they are more smarter than us to do this kind or shit.
Most beautiful way go to your dealer and ask to extend your warranty if possible so you can cover your vehicle under warranty.
2 cents from myside.......

You can see the booklet or paper provided by your Used car Dealership (if you any) its clearly mentioned what cover and what not. sometime they used tricky language.
Once I find out the right approach, I can discuss the warranty with either dealer or third party certified mechanic. So he can suggest what needs to be changed and if that is covered under warranty or not.

Isn’t it good to be smart and know right things than be dumb and regret afterwards?
I agree they are in this profession for yrs and smarter then most of the costumers; however, they choose to serve smart costumers than dumb.
Please check your warranty papers again or have it reviewed by a legal expert. Most of the extended warranties sold by private dealers on used cars are actually insurance for breakdown, has a maximum limit and only covers power train.
Is the warranty underwritten by the manufacturer? If not, please dont risk your car for the sake of few hundred $$ you spent on the extended warranty.
Hope you can check and confirm my doubt.
Good luck.
Hiren
Appreciate your input, Hiren.
