Hello All,
Two questions regarding Citizenship application

1. Whether we should apply for the citizenship together (myself and wife) or seperalety.

My wife is a home maker and has been to India for more time and hence has to wait longer to be eligible. I myself become eligible in a months time but will have to wait for 4 more months if we were to apply together.
Since it gives me flexibility to move around from a work travel point of view I wish to proceed separately with the application.




2. We became PR in 2004 but went back to India within a month after receiving PR card.
I returned in 2006 when I had a job and my wife returned in July 2006

When she returned in July 2007, her passport was not stamped at the airport ..

Is that a big issue to show her residency obligation ?

Also for me I travelled to USA for few one week assignments, and on the last visit back from USA, my passport was not stamped at the airport..

Is this an issue too ?


We both have renewed our indian passports and also renewed the PR cards.

Any thoughts/ experiences /advise ?
