Friends,
I am scheduled for the citizenship test on April 05, 2004 at the Scarborough office. I have only read the book once and have been practicing the questions online.
Could you please provide me some information on the test:
1. are the questions all mutiple choice and some of them have to be answered in sentences? I have only study the questions, so I can remember the exact answers, all I can do is pick up the right answers from the choices.
2. are there any pacific questions about toronto or scaborough areas? I have only studied general questions.
3. I heard there are only 20 questions, it that true?
4. what kind of questions they ask before they hand you the test papers? I don't have a particular job in canada and my husband is working in US and he is the one supporting me. what kind of document they will ask us to bring?
Thank you so much for your helps. If anyone had their test recently, could you please share your experience with me?
Hi genesan,
i had the test two weeks ago in scarborought center ''it is piece of cake''
much easier than the question on the book. yes there is only 20 questions and they are all multiple choice so u do not have to right anything.that is how it is.
you arrive go to third floor (citizenship test and oath floor)wait in the waiting room at the test time they will call every one to go to the test room have a seat they will have evrey one file in hand they will call every one by name ask for ID and ur passport (old and new one if u change it recently)
he will take a very quick look at your file and passport make sure are the same and aske u a question to make sure u understand english
usually from your file like if u left canada and when so stick in what u wrote in ur application then he will give u a small sheet size less than half of the printer paper
this is where u have to answer of all the questions from 1 to 20 a-b-c-d u have to mark the correct answer on the sheet after he finsh from all
which will take about an hour then he will give the questions booklet read the question and answer it on the sheet by mark the correct answer
u have 30 minutes u must answer 12 of 20 and u must answer 16 and 17 correct
they are about the vote and at least one of the 17 to 20 must of the people finsh with the avarge of ten minutes
so if u know how to read u will finsh in ten minutes the most there was no question about scarborought or toronto.
good luck
