PEACE ALWAYS
Good checklist. It will be very helpful to me.
Thanks.
Cheers.
Don't forget to ask about the move in bonus . Generally 1 month is offered free of rent in the 1st year's lease as a promotion ....
Also if you know someone in the bldg , get in touch with them and tell them to refer you .... Referral bonus that they will get ($200 $300 ) can be shared and would otherwise have gone to the super / sales person's pocket ...
Visit the building at different times of the day and be in the demo apartment at the same side that you would be taking .... and hear for road noises / etc at different times ..... some times one side of the bldg is quiter then the other .
Check for direction the windows face ... peronally prefer East since Surya devtaa darshans in the morning
Think almost everything before signing the lease as you are booked for 1 year and more and a move is expensive ...
Lastly ........ check the Apartment space also ... For the same rent and no. of rooms , you get different apartment / floor sizes ... Be sure to check the square feets .... Also check for gym / swimming pool etc availability ...
Nice thread ... can help new comers who generally rent apartments ... CD s are encouraged to add more per their experience ....
