Which area is better to live around Toronto

Dear All

We would like to move to Toronto in the coming months. We lived 9 years in Europe and we have no experience about living standards or conditions in Toronto.

Can any body suggest which area is nice to live both in terms of rent a apartment or buy a apatment. I am asking this question because I want to narrow my search for my settelment on toronto.

Best option would be to move near any of your friends or relative that you know well. I'll repeat what I've said multiple times: No area is bad. No area is good. It's all relative.

Talk to your friends/relative that might be living in or around Toronto. Move into any area that you and your friends feel "good". Once you are hear it will be lot easy for you to decide that's "good" and what's "not good" for your. And it's not that tough

Also, do not buy a house/condo as soon as you land. Rent for a few months or even a year, get familiar with the city, explore neighbourhoods before taking a decision.

I guess you should be close to the subway line as you might not be driving and buying car immediately.
secondly close or access to the work place if you already got a job or know what are you might get (ex:tech or finance related are mainly in downtown..)
well rest is your convenience and friends/relatives suggestions.

Hi Every one

In my previous question I asked about the nice neighbour hood around the tronto.

First of all I thanks to all these people who gave me suggestions.

I talked to my relavite and search through this forum. My conclusion is as under

1. Rent the apartment for 6-12 months and afterwards decide the final destination.

2. Later on buy your own property to avoid the rent.

3. If some one want to buy the property She/He should buy the apartment in the Mississauga. Why most of the people emphasis to buy the apartment in Mississauga. Even I realized it is expansive in terms of rent and purchase.

Is Mississauga has a nice view. When I talk about NICE VIEW, in my mind picture of Europe comes.
