Hi all ,
Good evening ,
I am Siri working as a Sr Soft engineer for an MNC in Chennai. I need some information regarding immigrating to Canada. My total experience includes
5 1/2 yrs in software field. I am a civil engineering graduate and if I file my application under skilled worker category ( software engr ), will this be a
problem for getting PR .
I also worked in US for 2 yrs, and came back to India during the slow down.
Please let me know if this will effect my chances of immigrating to Canada.
Please provide me the details like how can I apply for PR.How useful is it to hire a consultant for filing my application. Please let me know if I can do it by myself.
If anybody is there like me , please share your experiences.
Thanks in advance , Siri.
Hi,
You can go through the website http://www.cic.gc.ca." rel="nofollow">LINK Under skilled worker category, calculate your points.
You can file for software engineer. Your stay in US will not have any effect on the application.
You can do it by yourself.
Hi Raajen ,
Thank you very much for provding information.
Is it advisable to to file for this PR by myself or it is better to go with a consultant.
Please let me know your suggestion .
thanks ,Ramana.
Hi,
Go through the website and then decide whether you can file by yourself or you need consultant.
Hi siri,
I suggest u better apply yourself. The reason u r hesitant and looking for consultant option might be ur civil engg while working for software. Need not worry on that count. With 5 year experince plus US exp u r petty safe. Just go ahead & apply. See u got good score on IELTS to get more chances of skipping interview.
Welcome to the long wait .......
