Hello There,

We recently moved from US to Canada (almost one month).

We are expecting a baby and would like my mom to visit. What documents do we need to send them for a tourist visa? Should I mention my wife's pregnancy in the invitation letter.

Will it be good idea if I mention my wife is pregnant.

Please suggest what all should I mention about her pregnancy.

My father (retired) will stay back in India, he has to take care of my sister .

I do have payslip for last one month and bank balance of $15k. Balance is enough to show the funds? Can I show my US payslips too?

Would like to know Visa processing time.

Also I want to know is it a Visitor or Tourist Visa.

Please suggest!
Thanks in advance.

I had my parents visit me in the past few years. First time, they were issued a 1 year visa and thereafter they were granted 5 year visa.

Use the following official checklist:

http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/images/TRV%20Checklist.pdf

My wife & I jointly signed the invitation letter, we sent our job letters, bank account statements and income tax returns.

Your parents will need to provide the documents shown in the checklist (like income tax returns, property papers, etc).

In the end, it is up to the consular officer adjudicating your application to determine whether you have enough funds to support the person during their visit as well as the visitor's ties to their native land.

Could you please let us know what you learned from this link and the individual who has been helping hundreds of people? Did they help you or send you back to your home.

They have been helping people fill out the forms. They have been providing sufficient help in bringing in their Parents and families and reuniting them with ones that have settled down here.

If you visit them and find out you will know what are the best reasons to put forward for such a visit and with which you will get the help that you are expecting. I want to see your request for your Mom's visitor visa succeed and the little help that we provide to you with the proper links and successful avenues not get shelved for a later date.

Your success in your efforts are our aim. When you smile and say thank you, it automatically reaches all of us.

Hope this is of some help to you.

Freddie.

Hi,

I has gone through same situation and applied for my Mom,

1. You need to get a letter from your family doctor with date of delivery

2. You need to show your job and ofcourse the pay slip of canada

3. better to submit your tax returns

4. bank account also

5. you need to make a invitation letter and get it attested with a loyer.

Are you PR holer >? you need to show your status at canada

it will be a Tourise visa for 6 months only.

thanks
