Hi,
Myself and my wife are Indian nationals and we had been to Canada on a work permit. My son was born when we were in Canada and he is a Canadian citizen by birth.
After he was 7 months we have returned back to India as our deputation period was over.
We have got a Canadian passport and PIO card for my son. Is there any problem for him to stay in India continuously retaining his Canadian citizenship?
Is there any time limit for his stay in India with the PIO card. If so what needs to be done to extend the time frame.
Quote:No, Canadian citizens do not have any residency requirements.
