Better luck next time for Harpreet and Roger Nair.
You think the Toronto desi folks are all a bunch of idiots to be fooled/cheated by these people again
Wait till you see the Desi Festivals in BC. You'll end up crying out loud for spending your hard earned money. In my view all of these so-called festivals are only worth (if they really are) - if free. I had seen the best of the lot in Delhi, that I lost any interest in these desi ones here in Canada.
Just one word - a sheer Crap!!
^^^ Yes, sheer crap ...
But everything n anything sales - in the name of Desi.
Crap will keep comin back ... year after year.
For Bollywood, there is nothing better than original pirated DVD
(I dont even do that - because by that time, I have read the reviews)

Mumbai Maazi Ladki ...
only desi shows that are worth it here in TO are the gratis ones- desifest, mosaic and Masala!Mehndi!Masti!(MMM)
Actually this year there was another new one called Zaika- had its teething problems but it should be better next year.
just for your info - Jay Sean - a UK Punju who has hit the no 1 spot on the billboards with "Down" had his North American debut at Masala!Mehndi!masti ! in 2004 when he was part of Rishi Rich project.
Also Lisa Ray who has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma and is all over the news and who opened the TSX on Sep 16 was MMM's main headliner this year.
Rahul Bose- Sean Penn of India- who is here promoting a green earth on behalf of OXfam was the main headliner of MMM in 2007.
All these desi programs are full of bull crap and I am surprised that there are so many home sick desi suckers who fall for this shit. These desi programs are a fraud and usually potray such a cheap and wrong impression about India.
By the way many bollywood aspirants also think this is a chance for them to shine and be noticed , what a load of shit and to thisnk of it the Indian papers are full of this.
