i was travelling with a 10 month baby and a 6 yr ,i took the following

change of clothes for all 3 of us

liquids like juices to keep the kids hydrated during air port transfers

finger foods

travel wipes ,10 diapers approx ,change mat

if infant is breast feeding then best for both mom and baby

else sterilized bottles and milk pwd

ask ur doc abt medicine that will help the baby to sleep during flights

i did give it before boarding and we three had a pleasant flight

medicines like tylenol

few toys for baby ,

if ur going by jetairways the toddler will enjoy their selection of food and movies and onboard games

have a safe and pleasant trip

when you are allotted seats request for front seats since you can move your legs and stretch your legs and children can sit down and play toys and at night ask for infant crib/bed to make him/her sleep. take stroller if you have so, baby can sleep in stroller.

take clothes (children) and one set of clothes for elders too in cabin luggage. carry 10-12 pampers too. carry basic medicine like for fever,ear pain,stomach pain,thermometer,nasal drops etc

be calm and have safe journey.

Talk to Airlines directly (not thr ticket agents) for all the baby care products/facilities dat u r looking for. They might be able to allot you a seat before hand. They know the size n weight that basinet can carry. Ask them for Baby food also.

If before hand is not possible then Try to checkin as early as possible to get front seats. We had 'sleeping bag' because 'basinet' that they provide may not be dat useful if baby is above 9 months or so. You can't bring in stroller upto seat - they'll take away umbrella stroller from you at da door and will give you when comin out from flight at bombay.

If you are travellin thr JET - dont worry about port transfer (you won't get anytime between flights to worry about anything)

Don't carry any liquids of any kind. Avoid it as much as possible.

Trave light - only necessary stuff in hand carry like -
* Medicine as mentioned before
* sterilized bottles and Formula
* diapers/wipes/change mat
* finger foods

Have Safe n wonderful flight

YYZ might just let you in but Europian AirPorts are more strict.

As of 4:00 a.m. hours E.S.T. on Monday, November 6, 2006, air passengers will be permitted to bring liquids, gels and aerosols through security screening at Canadian airports provided that the items are packaged in containers with a capacity of 100 ml / 100 grams (3.4 oz.) or less – instead of the previously required 90 ml / 90 grams (3 oz.) or less – and that the containers fit comfortably in one clear, closed and resealable plastic bag with a capacity of no more than 1 litre (1 quart).
