To all my Sakhis,
I have tried using different brands of attas for chapatis. Some of them have maida in them, while others are so much coarse in texture! Moreover, one brand has different types too.... ( Golden temple- purple, red etc...)
Which brand and type of wheat flour in the market is healthy and has no maida in it ?
try sher atta (whole wheat). It's really good. It's 7.99 for 10 kg. in Asian market.

We used almost all brand in market in last 4 years and finally stick with Pillsbury atta. We like the test and quality of atta compare to others. Of course its little bit expensive but worthful to pay more for quality.
2 cents from myside.
I do agree... SHER ATTA is good one.... you can get it.. in ASIAN.. and i recently visited WALL MART in Square one and they have GOLDEN TEMPLE ATTA>> which is another option......
We us LAXMI atta and its good. Seems like whole wheat.
An alternative is MEERA ATTA

Thank you
I agree, Pillsbury is the best and doesn't contain Maida. In fact this time i went to India, I noticed my parents using it too

My vote is for Deep brand. It's 100% whole wheat and we got very soft and puffed rotis from it. I don't think I'll be changing that brand.
