Hi all,
I applied for my parents visitor visa on last year and they refused to give visitor visa for same 5 reasons.
This summer again we are going apply for visitor visa and i heard that if any local MP will give some letter to support to your invitation letter will help to get visa.
Can anyone explain which kind of letter i have to request to local MP for my parents, If anyone have format OR what to include and indicate in letter will help us a lot.
Waiting for reply.
thanks
MP letter is of no use. Zip, nada.
MP letters are dime a dozen and consulates abroad don't give a hoot about some small town MP.
I've had visitor visas rejected with MP letter, without MP letter.
And same visa accepted without letter.
If you still wanna go ahead, call the MPs office and ask the office assistant for a tourist visa support letter.
They have a standard format and will simply fill in your name and details, have the MPs signature on it and send you.
They do this regularly and know exactly what to do.

Thanks Practickm for reply,
I heard a lot about MP letter that help a little bit or consider to give a Visa, But in your case as you told nothing to help than i have to think now to go for it or not?
obviously is nothing to harm if we go for it.....
Thanks again........
No, there's probably no harm but it may just draw some attention towards the case and they may scrutinize it more than regular.
Ultimately, the visa case has to be approved based on its own merit, conditions and some internal quotas or constraints that the local Canadian consulate may have, which introduces some randomness and unpredictability.
Having an MP letter does not yield any extra points at all and consulates have no hesitation in rejecting visa applications with MP letters attached.
