I am a structural Engineer working in Canada- The oppurtunities right now are not as great as what it was before but there are ample oppurtunities for people with the right skill. The plus point I saw was there weren't many people specializing in Structural design and and as a result there is a niche market for us. The economy is on an upswing right now so it shouldn't be as bad as it was last year.

In btw I used to work for Hyder consulting and I know that Hyder did Emirates tower so where you a part of the team as well?
