Wow !
What a song. It reminds me the period of 20-23 years back when it come on TV first time
We used to see/listen every time it used to come on TV/Radio
Complete song was simply best !
But best moment was when in the end, Amitabh/Mithun & Jeetendra join together

Enjoy!
New version - full of bollywood shit. They could not find people of all walks of life ??? Even some common man ???
Except bollywood all other fields have been ignored. Yes, they forgot Jaya Bachhan. Should have completed the family !!! What nonsense.
I loved the original version. Anything else is just a copy.

Thx for the link.
IMO, the older verison was good. This one is long, too much of music than the song, SRK in the filmy ishtyle. Was there any cricketer in this one? I could see Bhutia and Vijender(?). Could have been even better if others in different fields were also included.
Just the usual bollywood junk. How come Jaya left out, would've completed the whole family. Who would tell them that Indian nation is way more than about Bollywood. The usual crap these days.
How can you complete sports without Kapil & Sachin and music without Lata, They did a complete dis-service and leaving out olympians is an utter shame. What a disappointment.
Still love the old one. It's mesmerizing and brought tears to my eyes. That is the power of original "Mile sur mera tumhara....".

Today again I feel proud to be part of making of old song. I was a sumer trainee those days with o&M Delhi.
When we were editing this song I still remember the high energies in studio and Mr Mullick asked me "Beta kaisa Laga" Chalo ek chai pilao...
