Hi Guys,

My parent had applied for visitor visa at New Delhi in first week of February and consulate asked for medical and medical insurance.

My parent have done medical on 15th February and bought medical insurance. They sent passports, copy of medical insurance and receipt of medical checkup to CIC on 22nd Feb.

We didn't receive our passport back yet.

VFS website tracking system shows passport received on 23rd and it is under processing.

Any idea about how much time it could take after medical? (Any personal experiance)

Should I inquire to Delhi CIC? If yes, after how many days?

I am just worrying because of plan is flying on 12th March and have to confirm ticket.

Last time it took only 3 days after medical. My parent have already visited canada twice.

Fax / email CHC right away mentioning the dates involved .

Did you submit the application at CHC N Delhi or VFS ?

Does it make difference? OR is it possible to send directly to Delhi CIC?

I think I read that for seniors , CHC encourages to send in the Application directly ... however sending it through VFS won't make much difference I assume.
