For once I agree with you uncle. Haroon Siddiqi may find his roots in India, but is a total disconnect. He has a biased opinion about the world's largest democracy. I've read his columns and have condemned them to be anti India. He lives in a little hole and refuses to see the bigger picture.
An equivalent of this moron is Tarun Vijay of TOI. Another biased moron who is blessed with the might of the pen. A total right winger who refuses to open his eyes to the idea of India as a secular country. I wonder why do they even publish him.
I couldn't ignore this one, it made some sense...

However, I have my own doubts about the effectiveness of internet in articulating views.
There is one joker Haroon Siddiqi who writes for Toronto Star. Many of his articles are misleading and gives distorted views about the issues. He is particularly anti India. Whenever I have found his article which provides half truth, I have commented in the Star. I observe that his articles, many a times provoke readers to write contadicting his views, The star has never bothered to censor him and he continues dishing garbage.
Anyway, I found that the article referred above might be interest to CDs and hence this post.

My few comments.
- I would like to see the survey Mr. Gupta is talking about. How valid it is?
- How reputed/reliable is Sunday Pioneer and Mr. Gupta? The article seems a bit biased/amateur.
- Third point, which comes back to basics - How would you define a "Hindu"? Does your belief in God (Theist/Atheist/Agnostic) has anything to do with you being a "Hindu"?
