Nothing wrong with Christianity, jesus eating meat. It is one of the greate religions. But When nations have laws above the religions why force your religion. And if it needs to be that way then boy, I am waiting for Ras leela law to get passed soon in India.

I do not see religion being forced. Your interpretation seems to be wrong. Roe Vs. Wade is still valid and a woman has right of abortion. Obamacare does not provide for abortion but provides option to buy insurance with own money for abortion. Where is the question of religion being forced?

You know this post creeped up several different aspects to original post.
Some folks tried to justify killing animals for fun and eating animals because Jesus supported it....
Again all I wanted to point out was about respect for Life, whther it is human or animal ....and I also mentioned being paranoid about it.

PPL are taking this thread in the same direction as you started. I connected your respecting animal life with meat eating; immediately after your original post. Making it simpler; how respecting a life, whether human or animal ... or not eating meat are diffrent things? I dont see any other purpose of killing animals (than eating meat). A few (animal) killings may be for fun but then (most of) those also turns out in meat eating.
If I am not understood, please say what is your way of 'respecting a life of an animal?' other than 'not eating meat'.

I am not saying eating meat is wrong. Also gave the example that cannibals are also right..aren't they? But don't you agree that life is a life..human or animal?
You need to ask question to yourself "Do you enjoy cutting the neck of the live animal ?" Some torture them, some cut it in a snap. If you enjoy watching it does it make sense to call yourself to have respect for life? What would you call Cannibals?
