Just want to ask if anybody knows that how much time its gonna take to clear the case of Spousal Sponsorship in New Delhi . . . !!

The police clearance and medical examination were already done as of the new rules that the spouse has to undergo the medical examination before filing and the police clearance has to be submitted along with the file.

Question : would there be any background check as well...? Because its a long process. And my file is going from Punjab.

Any information would be helpful .... !!

You might have read a lot of letters in CD website with all of the do's and it is redundant to write the same all over again.

The correspondence between the bride and the groom, before the Engagement, any phone calls with records, any e-mails between the two of you, then the meeting with the bride, the party with pictures, the betrothal, the wedding card and invitation and arrangements with all of the BILLS from the wedding hall and caterers and pictures, videos and the trip on your honeymoon and other pertinent materials etc., have to be gotten ready in case there is an interview is called for.

You will get through after getting all of the ducks in a row and memorizing and practicing with what you will say without FEAR, and confidently in front of the Immigration Officer will be your best bet. Prepare well for it. Cannot instruct you any better than this.

How long.?? Might take anywhere from Six weeks to Six months. So you do have some time to practice. Don't forget you will have to coach her too.
