I am in the process of my mortgage application

While I was with Mortgage broker & checking my Credit history

He showed me Alert in my credit history

It says "Misused Address"

I am confused with what that mean
I can think of 1 or 2 different possibilities

When I bought my existing house almost 2 years back, earlier owner didn't updated his address. So I used to get his mails in the mailbox for almost 8-10 months. I used to deposit those mails back to mailbox for RETURN

Is that the reason for Alert in Credit History ?

Another possibility - one of my friend last year landed in Canada on PR. Since he had no Permenant address in Canada, so he used my mailing address for his PR, etc. After a week or two of landing, he left Canada
I got all his PR etc. which I mailed back to him ( he is in another country )

Do you think, this Alert in Credit History is related to this issue ?

If both above mention reason are not possible reasons, then what might be the reason ?
