Inspite of that muslims keep on migrating to USA instead of migrating to Saudi Arabia. So what is the reality.

No my dear friend, absolutely not ..... Event though we are patriotic and true to ourselves, I guess the west is too biased on this topic...in saying that ,its not all of them who fall in this category !! But its the hard fact and we have to live with that .

Even in India , the situation is no different.Thankfully in kerala ,where I live, the degree is much much lesser and that's exactly why I am concerned !

I mite be wrong here, but this is what I hear from 99% of contacts that I have in the west . But please let's not turn this tread into a religious debate, as that is the least most important factor for me in migrating there. I had asked ,just to know the overall perception and not each and every individuals ideology...

This country uses false image marketing overseas. It is not for educated people. They will make you work with cleaners, drivers,, gaurds and still make you feel proud. They are pretty good at it. My IT friends who are working with finest companies in Canada in IT field - mince no words about the backwardness prevalent here. They hadto spend thousands of dollars, years and reach levles they started back in India. IT people only come here to renew their US visas. You are coming to a village. 99% of Canada is just village and drugs are main business and smell is in streets as nonone stops them.

Your child is not going to get free education, she is going to get outdated cheap education which will enable her to work as labour for Canadain businesses. My sons 7th grade teacher is teaching from 1976 books. There is no home work, no text books and 90% of school work is drawing butterflies and pictures. A Canadain MBA costs $50000 a year from a reputedinstitute with 99% probability that he wont get a job in Canada but US or India. No wonder everyone just goes to USA to get a better and cheaper MBA.

Only sector here which takes anybody in is medical healthcare -no not doctors but nurses and their helpers. Courses run in thousands of dollars and then you are made to clean patients for years and face hospital politics.

Best you will get is networking job here and maybe you will be able to meet expenses which are hand to mouth, no recognition, no respect in society - just another worker added. You dont ever expect to be successful like you think in India. Here you will end up in same job till retirement. Make money here and enjoy in India thats best you can expectto do. This is a country of retireesand old people as all young ones of original settlers ran away to US, UK and Australia.

Plus you will have to face racism, unionism, cheap politics, treated at par with uneducated Indians, and above all less work hours if you get higher pay. Also Canada ismost expensive place on Earth. You pay 15 % tax on everything. Food, tv, phone and rent will eat 80% of your earnings, rest is bonus.

I treat India at least 10years ahead from Canada and they call us backward. This country is equivalent to what Nepal is for India. They are being run by US. All scrap that isnot wanted in US is sold in Canada at high prices. Few companies monopolize all business and you can find old wooden shacks (they call houses) selling for half a million dollars.

I know you will still come here , burn your fingers and then learn a lesson. However my dharma is to tell you the real fact as I have been here for quite some time and lost lot of money, time and opportunites for this village and discriminatory life.

Also most impotant if you come dont go to cities where its minus 40 degrees in winters and plus 20 degrees in summer, my wife got such a disease that she cant breathe properly even today.
