As any one who has taken other country's citizenship has to surrender his/her Indian passport with application form and $ 165.

( i do not know may be US funds as Great Indian consular employee at Toronto was in hurry and did not bother to answer all my questions regarding this issue or may be i disturbed her in watching IPL highlights or sas- bahu serial at her office)

any more information is appreciated as i got Canadian citizenship in March and have applied for Canadian passport. I have to surrender my Indian passport with $165 fee.

I found the consular employee especially the lady you mentioned to be helpful on my visit there.

Hope you didn't irk her by the I Canadian and you Indian attitude.

Frankly i do not know who was she as i randomly call the number listed on their website.i have just listed my experience here.

if you were served nicely by that lady or some other (i do not know , hope you know who was she) you are lucky! .....Happy......?

i need information about Indian passport rules that i could not get from actual authority body.

i talked nicely to her but she did not even bother to start and finish the call professionally.

this is major concern here on this website as the needy start a post to exchange information and some one messes up with his/her smartness.

I JUST WANT TO KNOW ABOUT PASSPORT RULES AND NOT THE SOFT SKILLS OR ANY DETAILS FOR RESPECTED LADY.
