I bumped into a very well dressed, middle aged and sophisticated looking Pakistani man in a subway train. According to buddy, he was short on cash and needed $19.95(a conveneint number because bakaras would withdraw a nice even $20 from the vending machine) to pay for his family's fare to London, On, which he would pay back later. I tell him tough titties and according to him Allah would sort me out(presumably on judgement day).

Another incident, a Bangladeshi immigrant approaches me after seeing me withdraw cash from a bank machine at the food court in BayAtMetroCoachTerminal. First there is some small talk, then the conversation turns towards him needing a hundred bucks of something and he has forgotten his card. Then he propositions if I would like a girl for the evening, when told NO, he asks me if if I like a man! A blunt "f--k off, a$$---e" worked effectively.

Be careful, there are a few "desi" creeps in downtown area. These people are exception to the rule and they feed on naive lookiing desis. Otherwise no harm in small talk, most are average folks like you and I are. Just don't involve any monetary/business aspects in your conversation or give out too much info about yourself.

Yes I agree giving too much of personal information is like coming back on you....I am so sad to see this state of affair in toronto...is it because of less number of jobs in canada or people are too aimbitious out here and want to become ultra rich....i just am not able to understand the whole thing...do not want to be too rude and aggressive but I guess thats how you ought to be here right....

Sadly, money has become bigger than God these days.
