Pearson Air Port :
Located in Mississauga, just outside of Toronto, Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport, also known as Toronto Pearson International Airport (airport code YYZ), is about 25 miles (40 kilometers) from downtown Toronto or 30 - 40 mins by car. It is the busiest airport in Canada.

Public transportation from Toronto Pearson International Airport, unfortunately, is not a great choice. From the airport, GO Transit offers bus service eastbound into north Toronto (@40 minutes). To get to downtown Toronto, travelers would have to get a connecting bus or subway.

Total travel time to downtown Toronto from Toronto Pearson International Airport using public transit is about 1.5 to 2 hours. Some times less.

Taxis:
Taxis to hotels in downtown Toronto cost between Cdn $40 and Cdn $50, plus tip, and take about 30 - 40 mins.

Airport Express Shuttle:
The Airport Express takes about 40 minutes to reach downtown Toronto and costs about CD$17 one way (plus tip).
This Airport Express Shuttle runs from the arrivals terminal at Pearson International Airport to downtown Toronto hotels, including the Delta Chelsea and the Hilton Hotel Toronto every 40 minutes between 4:15 am and 11:10 pm. Call (905) 564-6333 or (905) 564-3232. TELL THEM you want to be dropped off at UNION STATION. They will stop and tell you to get off.

This is the alternate solution and gets you to the Union Station just under two hours for sure. Then the next trek down towards Oshawa. Another two hours. So, it is between three and four hours to reach the destination here after getting out of the Customs and Immigration portal.

Freddie.

Just my feeling and without any offence meant - I wonder why a Canadian PR would who knows how to look for a chat site and ask questions on that, cannot find all the above info himself on the net!!!!!!!

:) I think you know the answer Chandresh :)

My gripe would be with the posters who encourage such behaviour by indulging such queries with detailed responses. Come on.. who doesn't know GOOGLE?

I volunteered to help a group of people who had sight disabilities. When I attended that group, I was given to understand that we explain each and everything in detail to them and provide them with a concept of things after verifying that they understood each and every detail. Once they got the hang of it, we paced the known grounds that they were familiar with, first. Then we pounded the pavements and counted each and every step. Not mine, but theirs. Then we made a few dry runs. Made sure that they got to their destinations safely. That was the ultimate goal.

AND, anytime you tried to help some one anywhere, we ask them if they needed any help and if they said YES, we had to hold their hands and take them to the next known location and tell them, YOU ARE HERE NOW and 'you can now go on from here' 'on your own.'

When I took this topic over from kimat, I acknowledged his response and took over from there to give sufficient details to OP to proceed to his destination. I then tried to find the alternative solution and see if it is available. When I found one I posted it to the forum under the same heading.

That means more business to GO services and the Express shuttle services too. I do remember having used them too. It all comes back.

Now, currently I find at each Defined intersection on the streets, we hear the CUCKOO in one and BEEPS in the other direction. Just to help them. That is new to me too. (Just like google)

Education helps people to go on in life. Knowledge that they acquire in life makes them live better.
Some do prepare well for a journey and a few others prepare well for a comfortable life, a journey well prepared, that last a life time.

Try walking a mile in some one else's shoes.
