My parents are here for 6 months on visitor's visa and their visa expires in Dec.. I would like to extend their visa if I can?? So any one has any idea about how to apply for their extention.. I am also concerned about the length of extension.. .. Is it easy to get extension and on what basis???
I also wanted to know if any one got extension recently...

Yes, you can very much extend the same. You should have a valid reason. Apply atleast 45 days before the expiry date of the VISA. They would reply in approx 60/75 days of time. Your parents can stay officially even their VISA is expired, since the result of the application has not come to you. You will get it for another 6 months or of the same period of your first VISA.
I did it for my parents and hence, I know about it.

VJ is absolutely right. Just remember to apply 45 days before and have the proof of reciept when mailing the application. your parents can legally stay until they hear back from the CIC.
My experience with my parents visa too the same.
