Finally the govt is making it clear that they do not need Skilled Immigrants in this country anymore. Atleast now people will get some sense and stop coming to Canada.

Canada is the only country where educated and qualified people do odd-jobs for survival.

It was about time.

If total number of immigrants coming to Canada are not reduced then it will be worse situation than before as immigrants under family class put more burdens than the immigrants under skilled categories.

But, they keep increasing the timeline and wait times for processing. When I started the process about 2 years ago, it was 25 months, and now it stands at about 35.

About the new rule for Federal Skilled immigration, I am wondering why they even bother about bringing in Doctors, as they also don't get certified. The process once they immigrate is quite strenous and long that drains most of their savings from back home.

I personally believe Doctors should not be in the list AT ALL. If they are then it should match with the fast and expediate process for them to practice here in Canada. Otherwise, remove them as well. Other than that, I am happy that they are limiting the immigration. Canada needs quality over quantity based immigration.

For someone who mentioned that Canada is the only country with highly educated labourers, then Boss check out Australia. You will be amazed, as the grass always looks greener on the other side.
