Hi Guys
Just an update for all those applying for the CEC (Canadian experience class) PR are now required to submit their IELTS reports along with their application forms.
I have friends who are unable to manage a good band score and I was willing to offer help to those who really need it. As all good things are not free, I can assure you of personalized attention and a high score in the time frame when it matters
Kindly feel free to direct any questions to me by email, and I will respond to you as soon as I can. Note I do not charge to answer any questions since I am aware of the stress these standardized tests can create.

Hi Freddie
I am always available to help those who have any questions about taking the exam as I have experience in taking it myself and coaching other students in doing so. I provide personal tutoring to those who still need additional help and I restrict myself to only 10 students per month to make it easy on the student and myself
My tips to those taking these examination is to first set yourself a deadline to take the exam. In my experience it works best if the student books an exam date, that way he/she is committed to the task.
For all those who are first time takers, familiarize yourself with the format of the test. Note that this test is taken at two levels, the academic and the general. The academic test is oriented towards students and professionals looking to get a degree or take some professional courses. The general test is used by different organizations as a standardized test to measure English efficiency (see immigration).
For those who are taking the test again for various reasons, such as boosting band scores, meeting threshold scores etc remember to not lose heart. The test is designed to help you not eliminate you. Following are some techniques you can use:
1. Isolate the area where you are weak i.e. speaking, listening, writing, reading using your present scores
2. Find a friend whom you can use to take speaking test, this can be done over the phone!! Tell your spouse if married or your son/daughter to hear you and give you honest feedback.
3. Bring a good set of headphones and visit the library on your way back from work to listen to the english accent and make notes as you listen for keywords. If you can purchase the CD(Cambridge IELTS 4/5/6- my choice) buy it and load it on your IPOD.
4. Find an english teacher in your neigbourhood who can correct your essays and point out grammar mistakes which you can work on.
5. Quick hint for the reading comprehension, DONT READ THE WHOLE PASSAGE FIRST, READ THE QUESTIONS! then read the passage for those answers. Also, make notes of each paragraph as your read them(at least 3 points) to serve as checkposts to find your answers, Do not waste time in looking through all the paragraphs when the answer is in the last one.
In all, the test is designed to throw you off, if you dont practice but if you have practice it will be another feather to your cap.
If any of you still have questions, contact me at
Good Luck
