We have few good members from BC. The biggest is Massood.

May be you can take a lead and arrange a meeting.

I have been thinking that we organize a meeting of all canadian desi members in the vancouver area . We could do it at a certain place of everybody's liking or it could be a common park ( just to have a picnic) , Just wondering how many members are there in vancouver area . Can you please reply to this thread and let us know your level of interest in this

We have about 170 members from Vancouver. On our site the registration count is quite high, but regular participation is not from all members who registers. So you might not get immediate response from all 170 members.

What we can do is decide a park in vancouver and date, and I can send an email to everybody to register for that event.

Also please contact Massood and the Canadian Immigrant Magazine, they are big names from Vancouver Desi.

I am sure we will get good response.

Replied to your PMessage. Thanks for your support.I will try and contact Masood and the canadian immigrant magazine on this . I am thinking of either stanley Park (vancouver downtown ) or Queens Park (New westminister, burnaby , Bear creek park (surrey) . This probably would accomadate a 100 people easily. Depends where the majority of the population is based in vancouver area.

We would be more confidant on this once people actively confirm registration.

I will get back to you after speaking to Masood and the canada immigrant magazine .
