Hi Sakhis,
I am new to the forum and looking to connect with moms and babies/moms currently on maternity leave and getting too bored without friends and families here in Canada.
I have a six month old beautiful baby girl who loves to socialize.We live near Hwy 10/ Queensway.
Are there any moms and kids interested?

This is a group called Immigrant Parents in Canada, and is an online support and discussion group on issues related to raising children in Canada. It is a Yahoo group and might call for a Yahoo e-mail address also. In the past the members expressed that they would like this group to focus on parenting related issues and did not want to see other unrelated posts. So, it is requested that everyone to only post messages that are directly related to the group's agenda. And thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Currently there are 175 members in the group and if you would like to join and part take in the discussions, please feel free to join them and enjoy their company too. Some of them live very close to you and a few in far away locations. But currently you can get linked and pursue your interests with in that group and see who are free to get in touch with you and chat.

The readiness center at the Corsair school is also a good place to connect with other parents and let your child see/play with other preschool children. There are toys/ books and more importantly other children . Even newborn are allowed.
