HI everyone,
I am Moving to Saskatchewan n from Toronto in a month or two. Before I move, I would like to know which city i should move to.
is there anyone here from Saskatchewan?
if yes, plz help me get some answers.
1) Indian Community- would like to know where the indian community is?
2) Rent- will be looking for a small apartment. i am alone for now so a small apartment will be just fine.
3) Job- once i move i will be looking for job. I m not picky about job..will even wrk in a factory so if u knw of any good work agency, plz give info.

This is what I know about Saskatoon. It is a very nice place with Indian community scattered all over (many people live within 4 to 5 km of the University). Saskatoon is not big if you compare it to Toronto.

(Saskatoon or Regina) rents are cheaper as compared to Toronto, and the apt quality will be better.
I am not sure about the availability of professional jobs there, even if the media reports are about the availability of jobs in SK.

Many houses close to the university rent out a room in their basement. If you do not mind that, you could do something like this to start with. The advantages: you will be close to the university and therefore close to student population who know quite a bit about jobs or cheaper accommodation. The bus service is good and the "emergency grocery" will also be nearby.
I know a few apartments are there (do not remember the exact names now) on or near Stillwater Drive (Google it, you could find quite a few ). This location is good too, but the area is mainly residential and very quiet. It is also on the bus route to the university (but I think a transfer is required).
If you are looking for apt u can search
in bwalk.com they have apt throughout
the town.But rent is not cheap anymore.price
range would be 700 to $1000.In downtown
it's 1000$min.If u want little cheaper look
at north or west saskatoon.It's a small citty
getting around is not that bad.
