Hi,

I would be grateful if anyone could answer my query.

One of my friend was in Toronto with his wife
for two years on student visa.
He and his wife borrow some money like $15000
from CREDIT CARDS (Some Bank's and some store's).

The situation is that, he already applied his
immigration in Delhi and file is in process.

The point is:
based on that borrowd money,
HIS CREDIT GOES POOR (LIKE BAD)
AND MAY BE STATUS IS LIKE BANKRUPT

now within couple of months his immigration
interview will come.

So, give me the idea, if anybody have,
How much changes about HIS IMMIGRATION?

Will he get immigration with family, or due to bad credit
he will get problem to get it.

Another this, suppose luck by chance, he will get
immigration to Canada, what happened with him
at airport in CANADA?

will he get any problem with immigration authority
at airport at arrival time or not?

He is ready to pay every single money to the
bank or whatever store, but still he is confused.

So, pl. reply me as soon as possible.

You kind attention in this matter will be appriciate.

Thanks

First contact the THREE credit rating agencies. He has to be the one to do it. Get a rating on himself and his wife BOTH.

To enter into Canada, he will need the Proof of funds or a Pre arranged employment here to get in. See that he can meet this. (P.O.F)

If he wishes to pay all of the dues that calls for due to the credit card load, he has to make arrangements to liquidate his debts, they might even settle for 50% of what he borrowed. To do that he has to get in touch with a local adjuster, and there are many of them, and they will find out exactly what he owes and to whom, from the agencies here and liquidate his position. Then it will take TWO good years to start with a clean slate.

His Immigration will depend upon this and the waiting period of two long years. See if it is worth it. Alternately pay up and clear the slate ans HOPE THE HECK that they give him the Immigration. (Which I doubt) Hope there is no arrest warrant hanging over their heads, in here for him/her.*

Hi Freddie

Thank you very much.

Thansk for Taking in interested in this above mentioned
matter and your reply is appriciate.

But dear sir, I got the point that he has to
contact that credit bureau and get the info.
thants good.

But it is mendatory to repay 50% for some money
prior to land in Canada (Toronto).

Becaz he is still confused that, suppose he will
get the immigration from New Delhi,
will he get any problem at airport - at immigration section
(like any kind of harrasement to pay money
or arrest problem for both (for him and his wife) ???

He knows that after getting immigration
he has to show min. 10,000$ (should carry with him)
at the airport, but he is asking about any problem
or hassle at the airport with immigration authority.

So, pl. review this question and if possible
your opinion would be appriciate.

He was on student visa and his wife on work permit
and they spent 2 or 2.5 yrs. in Toronto.

So, as per your opinion how much possibility
(no for time but surity to get immigration)
to get immigration from Canadian embassy in New Delhi - India.

Your opinion would be greatful in this kind matter.

Thanks

Himanshu

First they both need to clear all of the bad records. I am not sure about the immigration as they have created a very bad situation for themselves. So, try and do what is needed first.

Your efforts must be sincere. Call them from India : Creditor Line: 905-529-3328

Contact these guys, they will make a deal and arrange a small payment each month for them to pay. But they will provide you with a relief of about 50% off the total debt. And as long as they keep up with the payments, they will be clear of all of the bad records etc., and when they search for credit report they will not find any bad reports. Make sure that they give you that assurance. Because they both need to get Immigration into Canada. Tell them that you need this to get Immigration.

Good Luck.

Freddie.
