hi all ,i m agujrati and going to land in canada soon around 30th aug 10.and i m coming on studant visa .my collage is lambton and its in sarnia ont,so pls some one guide me how to get there ,what sould i bring with me and how to get accomodation in sarnia .

The first guy (id - shrenik) bored from 3-4 days is from the year 2005, not last week. The other guy (id - patel81) is coming this month end in 2010.

The easist route to get here is to book a flight till Toronto and then take a bus. "RobertQ Airbus" offers shuttle services from toronto to sarnia. You need to check their website for fares and schedule and make advance booking.
Also see if your college has India Student Association. See if you can contact them. If they have one, one of the guys can pick you up from either a location in sarnia or from Toronto airport.
For accomodation, you will have check out online or contact the college for info. Again, the India student assoc or the international student office of the college might be able to help you. Usually, newbies get to bunk with the existing students for a 3 or 4 days and then find an accomodation during that time. You should try to get accommodation with roommates to keep the costs down.
What to bring? Well, I used to have a 6 page list from 17 years ago that included pressure cooker to a plate to all the curry powders to survive one semester and that would fit in 2 suitcases. Bring anything you want that would need for the next 6 months. These things should be absolute necessities and something you would not be forced to buy here. Again to keep the cost of living down.
