Hi,

I, my wife and 1 year old child landed in Toronto during July 2010. I and my wife has received our PR Cards respectively out our child's PR card is getting delayed and I am told by CIC that I need to wait until they sent it. I have my child's COPR.

Now, I am facing a situation where in we have to travel back to Bangalore, India. I understand that if we all have PR Card's, then we do not need a transit visa while travelling through Europe.

I see that most flights fly via Germany, Paris which require transit visa for my child as only the COPR is in hand currently.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You will require a Travel Document for your child from the consulate in India to come back into Canada.
You should be able to travel to India without any issues since you would still have Indian passports.
