Yes, more than two years of filing, but no progress- apparently. Lets hope something starts and the long wait nears an end! I have filed on my own without the help of a consultant, so it is only through the CHC New Delhi mails (Which rarely come!) and the discussion forums that I would come to know of the progress of various applicants. Most of the residual lot of 1999, 2000 and 2001 in CHC New Delhi, who are being processed with old and the new law are through with their medicals. Many applicants of 2001 who qualified with old marks are already in Canada over a year back. Its obviously now our turn , and its not wishful thinking. It should happen soon.

One of the person I know who applied during early 2001 got interview waiver recently. Probably CHC is now addressing all the residual lots upto 2001. Hope we hear from them soon!

Hi,

I had applied for immigration to Canada through Bangalore in December 2001. Subsequently I got my File No in May 2002. I have also taken the IELTS exams and scored an overall Band score of 7.5 in FEB 2003. Marks scored in the individual modules are as follows:

LISTENING SKILLS: 7.5
READING SKILLS: 6.5
WRITING SKILLS: 8
SPEAKING SKILLS: 7.5

My overall marks come to 74.

I have already applied for Visa for all of us, i.e. my spouse, my one-year-old daughter and myself. They have advised me that my case should come through after June 2004,as all cases filed up to end of 2001 would be processed by June 2004. Let's hope for the best !
