There are a lot of other chat rooms. CD is unique and must stay that way.
We had this discussion before and it was a general opinion that we should not have chat rooms.
From my site, if technically it is not difficult to implement chat rooms, I can set them up and we will see how things work. Only major concern is what Chandresh said. We would like to record the conversation here in the public forum for others to read.
Evenif we mention that in the chat room just to chit-chat, it might not followed properly.
I am in the opinion of not having chat rooms.

Its all upto u guys. there r always good n bad side of everything. i found the good sides more then bad but if u guys find bad sides more then good then its all up to u..
the big thing is it should not hert the main MOTO of this site. now i guess it wouldnt be good for CD to have chat rooms.... 
so u can forget it.....

There is nothing bad about chat rooms - but as you rightly said, it would not be good for CD to have a chat room as it would lose its purpose of general public awareness and general help to everyone connected with Canada.
And as ugot said:
