Two days ago, I had a malware/spyware/who knows what else attack on my laptop and everything shut down. Me being as ignorant as I can manage about computers and stuff, diligently took my hands off the keyboard, called my neighbor who runs his IT business from his home and handed my laptop for a fix. He cleaned it all up and everything is now ok except for the following 2 quirks (at least that's all I have noticed so far):
1. My posting on CD duplicates itself every time I submit (for a quicker path to super senior desi, I suppose);
2. My yahoo email asks for the password twice. I enter once, I am logged in, but still it asks for password verification. I am able to bypass this by clicking my email id on the top right, choosing profile or something and then jumping onto email inbox; and
3. CD asks for login twice and when I try logging in the second time, it says I am already logged in.
So, basically, there is a double double problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
It might be the cookies/cache. I installed PC tools antivirus and it detected cookies and cache as infections and it may have removed them. Any way to build it back?
TK - when I click the submit, I hear two clicks when I have the sound on. Maybe that indicates trigger to post twice...??? I am thinking the mouse is haunted indeed. I am not sure why it is.

Hi Dimple
I had windows vista, had similar problem of hearing double clicks. On reinstalling the vista it is gone.
What OS are you using?

Enjoy Happiness -- Happy from India
Install this (Its free and works great for keeping malware and viruses away, just make sure you run scans and update definitions regularly)

The duplicate posting is most likely something with your browser. Try IE9 Beta if you're game. I've been using it for some time now without a single issue. Loads faster and looks clean and beautiful...
