People line up around Timmy's. No doubt about it it's a booming franchisee. The reason behind their success is their great brand image, best customer service, product innovation and the best price.
However, donut industry itself is not doing well. One of my friend having gas station and they stopped to offer donuts because they had to throw many donuts into garbage as they were not sold at the end of the day. Even in GTA the famous donut supplier Krispy Cream has closed their four units. There only one unit in mississauga(Heartland) is in running condition.
For health, I believe nothing is healthy whether it be a donut or muffin or bagel or samosa.

Thanks everyone for the replies. The issue is Krispy Kreme charges $5 million with some stringent requirements like prior restaurant experience and such which disqualifies me right off the bat. Hence trying to get my way in.

Will keep trying though.
