Ashedfc, it seemed to be a good short term buy... now, REE companies (including REMX) have dropped around 20% in last couple of weeks, so what is your advice? Stay in or sell ?

There are concerns about long term demand, because they are looking for alternatives (which I believe is not that easy, it will take couple of years to invent alternatives that are fully replacable to REEs)
Or was it a bubble that just exploded.
what is stop loss, or trailing stop ?

Bubbles cannot explode when China still holds the same monopoly, & there is no alternative to chinese supply.
If you are a trader: than you got to trade gains, & once you have identified an uptrend than, buy on dips (until your trend reverses, than you can protect your position by stop loss, or trailing stop, or buying a put option or there are several other strategies).
If you are an investor (not a trader), than day to day volatility will loose your sleep: its advisable to choose a actively managed speciality fund & let the fund manager do the rest.
Finally, I had sent you a PM, where I was not in favour of your request of individual stock picks, this is precisely the main reason. With an basket ETF, you still have some diversification.

Ash,
REMX is all time low right now.
Even all of the REM companies I have been watching are 52 weeks lows.
MCP - at some point it was above $ 60 is today dropped to $ 11.
Any comments ?
May this be a buying time ?
