Since, you have mentioned in your post that no network/system admin jobs are avialble for desi's then what is the best possible way to go ahead.
Looking forward for suggestions from my senior friends.

The odds are that you might once again do the same job that you did in 2007.
Ie. with future shop. Now the wage might have dropped to $ 12 an hour or you might be comission based.
Our min. wage has increased from $ 8 in 2007 to $ 10.25 in 2010 and taht is a blessing. Even at Tim's you will get $ 10.25.
All the skills you have mentioned are useless in the IT fieild of canada (as far as I know. Some positive CD's may know better).
What you can do is come here. If you come with spouse and 2 children under 16, you get around $ 900 / month FREE from Canada govt.. Try to do some dead beat job. get your income to less than 20K a year to receive full govt. benefits. Upgrade your skills. get cdn. passport and then decide.
Remeber, it will be a tougher life in canada than in India and dead beat jobs are not comforting at all.
make a wise choice.

TK,
How anybody can rule the World by simply getting Canadian Passport??
So many People has Canadian Passport but still UnEmployed .

CDN passport cannot help much in getting a job, but having a CDN passport will always help indirectly, e.g. you can spend rest of ur life outside Canada doing good job/business in India and can return back without any problem and avail benefits from CDN govt.

How can you say that the skill below mentioned by OP is useless..
Do you work in IT or has any background of IT with Sytem Admin role ?
Dont pass simply your "comments or thoughts"

The certification what OP has will get him a start ASAP in the Toronto market.

I would suggest the OP to come with a postive outlook and he will start any where with 14-15 and gradually in a year he will reach to 25 without any issue.

I can only say that if you are really looking forward to come here then don't confine yourself to GTA or Popular Metros for that mater & to Admin Roles.

If I go by the certifications then I think you can start a fresh n scratch your way out here in Canada. You are in better boat than a person with 10-15 odd years of experience. There are places which can utilize your skill set, while giving you opportunity to learn on job.

I believe the Network related jobs in IT will stay. They can't be easily move to offshore. Most of Development work is moved/moving away but not the network related. I believe the Network related jobs are more stable because you have to have a physical person available to handle the hardware. I also don't agree that network job are not available to Desis. You have to have an edge over the others to get any job.

Let me give you an example. If you have to select a person out of 2 persons and both have same knowledge/skills but one is of your colour, what will be your choice?

If the person of your colour have lesser skills/knowledge than don't you pick the other person?

The colour won't matter if you have an edge over the others.

Believe in competition rather than looking for safe zone.
