I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
Dear friends,
Thankyou all for the comments you have posted. I was quite right to get the best information from the senior members. Well everyone has its own perception towards Canada and its job culture.
As tamilkuravan has mentioned his own experience of people in system admn jobs as they were not well placed. However, Maharaj, cmanyam and Delhite has their own thought, which I would say quite positive.
Yesterday, I called my friend who is living in Mississauga and working as Technical Analyst in a reputed company. As per him he will be laid-off within couple of months as all the data and hardware has been moved to UK and India. Canada sales force will not be requiring any IT guy. He has been applying to aleast 3-4 jobs every day and with negative results. His sister arrived to Canada in March this year and she is M.Tech (Computer Science from Indian University with CCNA) and till date she was not able to get any Technical or desktop support job even though she is good in English. Well when I asked him why you and your sister are not able to crack the job. His answer was I have “no reference”.
After reading the post of my fellow friend and came to conclusions that whatever job we take we have to fight for survival and “jobs are in proportion to references”.
Jobs are there but we need a proper skill set and right approach to crack them.
I like the comment of Delhite “Believe in competition rather than looking for safe zone”, which really boosted my morale.
I will rethink till March if things go well then perhaps I will meet you guys in April 2011.
Thanks once again for all you support and wonderful comments.

IT market is okay for developers. Move to IT test software or development role. You will easily get a job. Referring Indian exprince in IT is accepted.
c++, Qt, Vb phython etc..
In case you are not having experince in IT devlopment
DO some open source projects in linux. Show that in your resume.
Thier are so many startups in toronto doing Mobile application development stuff.
go for kiji & craglist to get jobs in GTA with less exprince. Also go to monster.ca & workopolis. Applying for jobs from india is disadvantage. Emplyer prefer to be you being present here to start job. Then only they will respond. Else no body has time to waste.
do not go for 12/14 hr jobs in futureshop etc. Getting out of that will be diffcult. Since you have few months. Plan for test/development jobs by involving in open source projects.
best of luck
