Not too keen for Niagara - its too close to be a Getaway. Wisconsin Dells is little too far away. I don't want to fly - too much of hassle and now I think too close to get anything.

Second Half of December for about 5 days of stay.

Any other suggestions/recommendations

We had been at Boyne resort with kids and liked it very much . Inexpensive, not too far and a fun filled getaway for the family .
