A person who sees life and surroundings in a positive light will always be content and find satisfaction and happiness regardless of where they live.

KumarM is demonstrating that and kudos to you KumarM.

Hey KumarM

Watched the movie Julie and Julia, where two stories combine into one....but the moral of the story seems to be even small, everyday chores(activities) in life can be made enjoyable ,you just seem to be doing that....................maybe you can make a small movie about it..............just a thought. Watch the movie and you will understand exactly what i am saying

All of us are running so much in quest of the unknown that we are forgetting even the simplest of pleasures .............reading your post reintroduces consciously to them...............especially like the ones on your parents feelings etc

Regards,
jwagh

It's real chilly in the early mornings this winter, abt 11 C today. That gives me a good reason not to go for a walk;) . Number of folks who are regulars, have kept away due to the chill. Had never seen such a morning chill in my place.

Went to the Shirdi Saibaba temple this morning not too far from our place. Again saw two familiar faces. Both ladies smiled, I returned the same, I am trying to remember their names. Tried to exaplain their faces to wife. She's not too happy with me for forgetting their names. Will figure it out later.

In-laws bouth some Masala Vada (southies know what it is) from outside. I think I had 7-8 of them, wont keep count. Why bother as I am not on a diet. Waiting for Sunday for the test amtches to start. Will not miss the WC 2011.

Went around in the car (with the driver) for some errands. Kids liked it. There is a tv inside. Dont know how to operate, kids will figure out later as I forgot the remote at home. Went to the mall, had veggie Tacos and Rava Dosa for lunch. No wonder pants are a bit tight.

Watched highlights of WC 1983 that India won. Cool stuff.

The seniors are very happy as we have all returned finally. I can see their enthusiasm. There is some difference on the +ve side. That's the reason we all came back. They dont care what car I bought. Happy to see me back. Again deep fried pakora and coffee this evening at their place. They all know my diet:)

Thanks for sharing it.

Please keep posting all the excitements you r experiencing in India.
We need more +ve inputs about what is happening in India.

I am glad you are enjoying it KumarM while the ordinary janata is getting worked up over price of onions, corruption and so on. May be you have a very good metabolism to digest all the fried foods every day! ;)
