Hi,
I have a study permit for PHD program in Ottawa and my wife has a work permit and we we are parents of a Canadian kid. How can we get the PR?

1. If you or your wife has a profile ( at least with one year experience) that fits into 29 occupations revised in June 2010 ( listed in CIC website), then you will be eligible to apply for PR under Skilled Worker category.

2. You may also be eligible under Canadian Experience Category, if anyone of you have studied two years in Canada and worked one year in Canada, or worked two years in Canada.

Spend some time on CIC website .... if you have any doubts get back to us.
