a poll would give us statistics of existing attitudes. Change and evolution mean deviating from the norm. Not about ignoring the present but a way to look towards the future DUE to the past(but not dwelling on it anymore...especially if we know it is detrimental). That is where you and I come in. If we have influenced one another person...its worth it.

You are right that we have come this far on a balance between preservation and evolution. Maybe what we are actually discussing here(in our vanity driven rants ) is which way the balance should now tilt. I guess there are no rights or wrongs...ultimately the poll that you suggested would also tell us where we are headed . I only hope we have some more people on our side
