Garvo you are right ...the hectic life in canada should not distract us from the most crutial happennings in our homeland .....more than anything it is the biggest show of public voice in the world and more than anyone else we should be following it closely. Why do you think Chandra babu lost in AP ?

I used to think he is prime minister material . or was it just savvy media publicity to portray him in good light .... but that cant be true , he brought the world to hydrabad !!! both the big Bills (Clinton and Gates) boths sang praises of him , the man who put AP on the world map why is he ousted by his own people ...the same people who brought him in 5 yrs back.

I'd love to see a separate section on analysis on indian elections ...but i hope we can keep the discussions objective without getting personal .
i 'll try to watch myself too from getting carried away ... . lets us realize that on sensitive political topics tempers can easily get flared ...keeping this in mind lets try to get some objective and civil discussion going

I think these are early trends and things will level out slowly for BJP and allies ...but even then it is surprising !!

The Trends are really surprising...

If Congres wins, there will be big fight for PM, Mulayam will do all the nasty which he can to become PM.

Secondly, even if sonia becomes PM its not good for economy (my view),
coz number of corrupt ministers in congres are more the in NDA. even the educated person like P.V. Narasimha rao is corrupt.

...the thing about india which fills me with pride is the fact that desipte the election results the transfer of power is as smooth as silk .always.no military coups ...no hanging chads

but whoever comes to power ...i hope it comes in clear majority.... corruption is everywhere ...who is more corrupt is speculation from bofors to tehelka .

But I am wondering why this trend ....these were the best times for NDA , a strong economy , bullish outlook ...

then why this upset?
Why chandrababu is gone ?
Why cong in gujrat ? Maybe our gujju brothers can throw some light on gujrat trends
