I need technical help.

While connecting using Java (JDBC) I am getting an exception. JZ00L: Login failed.

I am also trying to setup an ODBC connection for a sybase database that is on the remote server and it is also not working.

Any ideas?

I am currently working on Sybase with perl and vb...if you can explain odbc problem then I may be able to help you.

I solved it. I had to write port number and machine name at TCP/IP box.
