the OCI application requires fingerprint for minor kids.
what is the best way to take fingerprints?
dip the thumb in ink? what kind of ink?
or to use paint?

anybody done this recently?
i don't want the application to be sent back because of this.

I used a marker for my kid. You could also use a ink pad

How old is your kid?

I recently submitted the OCI application at the VFS centre and my kid signed in the document. She is 6 years old. If your child can sign or write down the name, then go for it or else use inkpad to pad the fingerprint.
