I will be traveling to India with just over $11K.

Has anybody used the Currency Declaration Form (CDF)

Does any of the customs people cause any issue (harassment) - if traveling with cash?

I am planning to change the cash in black market (get a higher rate).

Did they count cash in Delhi Airport when you made the declaration?

Yes i used the form
You better declare your money .

Last time i had CAD 15 thousand, fisrst i declared at toronto airport(they have office at depat lounge), then again declared at Delhi Airport.

only then you can claim your money as white money in India, even if you will go to exchange your money(unless you want exchange in black market), the money changer/bank will ask about declaration paper.

Take proof with you, Bank receipt or letter from Bank for the total money you withdraw.
