Hello Mr. Masood,
This is my first post and felt that you could help me.
I have applied through an immi. consultant in Dec. 2001.
Got AOR in a weeks time with instructions not to contact them for 24 months.
Got green card for interview required in Nov 2002. Again there was a statement in the said card that for 12 months we should not inquire regarding interview dates.
My immi. consltnt. ( he has a lawyer attached to his firm) did not advice me that he had received any such communication.
It was in March this year, on our questioning him whether he had contacted CHC as the 24 months period had passed that he made some movement and sent a letter to CHC regarding my application. I came to know at that time that interview was required!!
In this May, the CHC has again sent a green card that interview is required and that we should not contact them for interview dates for 12 months.
I want CAIPs NOtes but my immi. cons. knows nothing about it ...
I am very disturbed by all this. I have sent a very strong worded fax to the immi. consult. Could you pls. suggest what should be my plan of action now? Why so much of delay in the processing?
Your guidance and advice would be really appreciated,
thanx,
worship

I'm not surprised your so-called consultant knows nothing about CAIPS. Anyone can claim to be a consultant.
Lots of consultants falsely claim they have lawyers with them. Tell him to disclose the name of the lawyer attached to him. The lawyer should be able to answer your questions and address your concerns. If nothing happens, contact me.

Thank you, Mr. Masood,
Till now I had read in various posts how you were helping and guiding other would be immigrants and today i experienced the same by your prompt reply. My sincere thanks to you.
One thing good about the Conslt. is that he is authentic and I do have the laweyrs name and address( they are all Canadians).....ofcourse the lawyers had contacted me only when the fees were wanted and after that nothing. The consult. frankly mixes me up with somebody else whenever I put forward a query and that infuriates me...I have even forwarded them the Caips Website so i am hoping that they will get enlightened and get my Caips notes for me.......
What I can't understand is the way the processing is going on at CHC......should I just keep waiting??
Thanks once again for taking interest.
regards,
Worship

I think instead of you paying them, the consultants should pay you for educating them about CAIPS.

I think they are still fumbling over CAIPS or meditating over it as I havn't heard from them.......but thanx again for your inputs...atleast I could smile
