In all countries where cellphone usage cost is low , they have replaced land lines ........ I ve been in India and Middle East to witness this ...
If you look at the unused Public Telephones , you can actually see their slow death .
Tell me one thing which does not have a negative ... Radiations may be there but they are not assuming any alarming proportion or that would have been found a solution for ......... Enjoy technology !! ..
In Canada the usage costs have been high till recently and with the advent of new players like Wind and Public Mobile , a lot of people whom I know have stopped keeping a land line ..
Public Mobile $15 a month unlimited calling rocks !

People must have said something similar when a few decades ago studies found the cancerous effects of smoking.
A few years ago (an year or two) industry commented that there were no studies to substantiate about cellphones' harmful radiations. Now, go figure. WHO no less, has it.

Anyways this thread is meant for people who feel that these recent $25 and less per month plans may be an industry turner . We can start another one on harmful effects of cell phones .
