Me and my family just recieved the test date (Mar 18), but I am planning on traveling back at my home land on June to July. Will this affect my application?
Thanks for the help!
U can travel between test and oath.
At the time of the test u should notify CIC of ur travel plans ask for oath date after u return ,
CIC will send oath after travel dates.
Not notifying cic could result in oath during the time u are on ur travel resulting in cancelled citizenship application.
Before applying for citizenship, think twice. If ur an Indian, better stick to your Indian citizenship.Hold ur Indian passport. And keep renewing your PR here. Stay afloat. Since Indian economy is booming,at least u can work there if u want or at least give a try. Here in Canada, there is recession. Even warehouse job is hard to find. Every thing, everybody depends on US.Since US is reeling under recession severely, it will take more time for Canada to pull out.Pl.Think over. Good luck.

.
What happens if the CIC sends you an RQ ( Residence Questionnaire ) in the interim or any other communication that they might .
Test is not a confirmation that the oath invite is coming ..... There are lot of slips b/w the cup and the lips ...
Though it should not impact your application if you inform the CIC , it might in exceptional circumstances delay it ... Please ask the CIC - they can advise you the best .
